I have found that the most useful option is to provide folders of the same images formatted correctly for different uses:
web/email_jpg: a folder of all the images as small files, suitable for emailing or
websites. Each is approx 200k, 72 dpi,
RGB, jpg.
photo/printer_jpg: a folder of all the images as large files
suitable for printing from computer or as photographs from a photo
shop/lab. Each is approx 2-6mb, 300 dpi,
RGB, jpg.
publication/print_tif: a folder of all the images as large files
suitable for printing publications/catalogues at a professional printers. Each is approx 6-10mb, 300 dpi, CMYK, tif,
unsharpened.
archive_psd: a folder of images of each artwork as large
Photoshop files, suitable for use by designer.
Includes calibration image with Kodak colour cards. Each is approx 35mb, 300dpi, 16 bit, RGB, psd
